Since 1960

In 1960, a grinding company in Solingen turned into a small component supplier for the tool-making industry in the Remscheid, Solingen, Wuppertal area. Tweezers for a wide variety of applications were the only products made. In the following years, the product range became increasingly diversified and today covers all fields where tweezers have to replace human fingers: - Electronics - Micro-surgery - Precision mechanics - Laboratory, etc. The consistently high precision and quality of all articles led to rapid expansion of the company and a growing reputation on international markets, where VOMM® tweezers have now been sold under their own name for several years. In 2019 VOMM® has been included into OHM®-Werkzeuge Wolfgang Vomm e.K. Tweezer-Manufacturing, Solingen. In 2021 VOMM® has been included into K. W. Urbach GmbH & Co.
